Onken Family Dinners

Drop in LunchboxNew York, NY

Ippudo is the city’s most popular ramen staple, and it’s the real thing. I’ve had ramen in Tokyo, and I’d say this resonates quite well. When you walk in to the dining room, you’re greeted with a lovely japanese welcome. They have many great dishes worth trying, but ramen is their kingpin. If you’re finished and have left over broth, you can soak it up with Kae-dama, a system that offers you an extra serving of noodles for two bucks.

My favorite Ramens:
•Akamaru Modern (you can order the extra spice if you’d like)
•Tori Shoyu Ramen
